I found this contest while browsing through reebonz and thought, I shall give this a try! and ta-dahhh~ my participating entry.

I've always love black as part of my fashion style. For my day-look, I've chosen to rock chic! I love the Rick Owens jacket to the max <3 The mix between silk chiffon and leather is just splendid. The other look of mine is the party look. The simple little black dress surprises with a cut-out back which is really sexy! I think the Balenciaga bag completes my look with a youthful touch! It is a must-have!

Hopefully, I'd make it! fingers crossed!

It's been such a long time since I last wrote an entry. Never found the energy or motivation to come drop a few words. WELLS. I'm here now, probably because I'm not in the right mind to begin with (running fever and coughing my lungs out). hah.

Anyhow, many things happened the past year and I can hardly remember them all to blog about. Old age, hah. But I did manage to dig out some photos to share.

Now that I'm already 21 and counting, I feel really lost. No idea what to do with my future, my life, blah blah blah. Sometimes I think I've wasted my time and money on my fashion degree. Look at me- still that pathetic retail assistant working her ass off for a couple of bucks per hour. Seriously, my future prospect as a successful person seems bleak. EMO. and whenever I think about money, I think my white hair just numbered. so demoralizing.

WELLS. today has to be the most pathetic birthday of my life.

i had school today and you'd probably think my classmates would be nice enough to celebrate it for me. but hell, it's my lecturer's birthday too. so in other words, no one really gave a damn about mine. what made me feel real depressed was that the supposed good friends of mine (in the class) totally ignored my birthday. how disappointing. and it was those classmates, whom i rarely spoke to, who decided that i should get a birthday song. and so i cried. like wow, how ironic.

but thanks anyways, to all who had sent well-wishes. and also presents. :)

OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN!

i left my blog to rot for say.. a month odd. oops.

i have been REAL REAL REAL busy for the past month and i cant imagine what it'd be like for the next ten weeks! god, if i've said i want to die before, i really do now (and DESPERATELY!)

I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO DO!!!!

now i'm starting to wonder why i have the time to blog. :p oh, its because my birthday is coming. but hell, i dont plan to celebrate it this year. just look at my schedule. -HEARTFELT SIGH- but that doesnt mean i dont expect presents. :D

so after pondering for a few days, here's a wishlist:

1) a black bag- functional but stylish. and hopefully big. below is a picture of a bag i find quite acceptable. credits: forever21

2) a pair of glossy black leggings- that looks like its made of latex! place to get it: zara or topshop. here's a picture of it from, again, forever21:

MY HUSBAND IS IN SINGAPORE!!!

BUT I DIDNT SEE HIM! :(

there's supposed to be another title: I'M BACK FROM HONG KONG!

but but BUT. of course, my lao gong is more important. -heartfelt sigh-

oh man, for once (although there were times before), we are on the same island. -ANOTHER heartfelt sigh- and yet I didnt get to see him. seriously, we're almost like romeo & juliet- star-crossed lovers. LOL.

why why WHY! I'm depressed.

anyways, YES, I went and came back from lovely Hong Kong. Although I can say I have shortened my life by 10 years after breathing in all the second-hand smoke. it just seems like everyone is smoking there. ZERO FRESH AIR. HEE.

oh, and surprisingly, I wasn't in a cam-whoring mood while I was there. so I have very little photos to share. If you want to know what I did in Hong Kong, just go on to facebook and browse all the albums of my classmates. they have kazillions pictures.

speaking of the trip, -grunt- I had a bad head start. ~~Vandana~~ aka DA-MA (translate to big mother) is the STUPID-EST WOMAN on planet Earth. SERIOUSLY!!! -grunt- our flight was 0650 in the morning, and she actually thought it was in the EVENING!!! -grunt- and both my teacher and I had reminded everyone so many times! I JUST CANNOT COMPREHEND HER INTERLLECT!!!!!!!!!!!!

and poor me, being the in-charge, had to wait for her to arrive before I could go eat breakfast. UGH.

like a mob... :p

anyhow, the THIRTY of us (yes, so MANY) arrived in Hong Kong early noon and began six days of NIGHTMARE...

and having to spend so much time together with my classmates undoubtedly means A LOT OF GOSSIP. :D my favourite. complaints from everyone, especially from the teachers. LOL.

anyhow, I did a lot of walking throughout the trip. ate many meals of MacDonald's that I refuse to eat there for at least 3 months. spent so much money that I'm beyond broke now. bought so many pairs of stockings/leggings when I only have a pair of legs. (I think I have over 40 pairs now.)

and for the first time in my life, I HAVE TO PAY FOR OVERWEIGHT LUGGAGE! :(

Ms Singapore Universe 2009 at Conrad Hotel

Up and coming project- Ms Singapore Universe. The contestants wore our shawl dresses and couture dresses for their semi-finals on monday 23rd feb.

The girls aren't exactly Ms Universe quality- they are way too short, tallest being 176cm (only one of them though). the contestants consist of the ah-lians, aunties and a few pretty ones. seriously. -heartfelt sigh- this year's competition is supposed to be about beauty and brains. I doubt some of them are up to any of the two. LOL.

okayyy. zhongru was complaining that my blog is dead. wells, it does seem quite true to a certain extent. BUT i'm back again. happy?

by the way, I'M LEAVING FOR HONG KONG in say... ABOUT 7 HOURS.

going there with my classmates, for fabric shopping. speaking of which... my final collection is giving me headaches. the topic i chose as my inspiration is anarchy. SIGHHHHHHH!!!!~ seriously, i'm starting to think i have chosen the wrong theme.

so whatever the case is, i'm leaving tomorrow to buy fabric for my collection. i just hope everything will turn out great in the end. or else... i would probably hang myself after that. :x

the past one month odd has been boring for me- work school work school. i'm very desperate for money. EXTREMELY desperate, actually.

but i did go out once with my beloved peeps- zhongru chunwee and meichen.

neoprint. i haven't been taking neoprints in kazillion years. :p so fun.

meichen left early and the three of us ended up at balcony for a drink. thats me with a glass of cosmopolitan. :D

the three of us were chatting and going on about how old we were getting. like seriously... we're talking about our future blah blah blah (and pretty much in depth). WE'RE OLD. okay, probably just growing up. after all, i'm still a teen.

well, i guess thats the most exciting event to share since the last update.

OKAYYY. right now its just some minutes aways from 2009 and i'm here to update!

i've been on holidays for about two weeks odd. and its work everyday. :( how pathetic can my life get? and in another few more days, i'm starting my term. T-T SOBS.

my dress. this was taken on my last presentation. quite nice right? LOL.

Ailin myself and Yumei. taken during work. SIGHHHHH. and all those people at work are really getting irritating. I WILL QUIT SOON. like REALLY soon. at least before i graduate from degree.

christmas dinner with NEWBIE. quite fun, other than having a few, or rather TWO people, trying to prick my temper.

Lynn Wenrong Tiongyan Zhaoxuan Zhongru Kongaik Shengzhong myself. 2I'03 OUTING AT VIVOCITY. only eight people turned up- a disappointing number. Nonetheless, we had LOTS OF FUN. they are SUPER FUNNY, as usual. Shengzhong was even trying to talk me into liking younger men (since i've a preference for more mature men).

IT WAS HILARIOUS when kongaik and shengzhong actually suggested playing hide and seek at vivocity. :x and they were happily counting to twenty. LIKE OH MY GOD.

NOT ANOTHER MONTH!!!

OKAYYY. now i shall consider myself an occasional blogger. I hardly blogs these days, BECAUSE I AM SO FREAKING BUSY!!! sigh. there are so many things to do EVERY SINGLE MINUTE.

meanwhile, a brief update of my life.

that's my class reading Pulse magazine. it's my school's magazine by the way. funny picture.

MISTEVIOUS came to my class. he/she is a drag queen. wells, just to put it in simple words, man who dresses up as woman to perform or because they just enjoy it.

GOSH. the last three days had been HELL for me. I've been sewing day in and out that now my butt aches from sitting for too long. ugh.

We went to get a sneak peak of F1 after the k-session and gosh! You've got to be there to really feel that F1-fever. REALLY COOL.

Chunwee abandoned the three of us for F1. And we were led to AI QING HAI MING GE CAN TING by Zhongru. I didn't know there are such places in Singapore. And wells, it was SUPER COOL. :D

one week of holidays flew by so fast and I'm not back in school. :) I cant exactly say that I am unhappy because I really like my degree course, somehow, although I will be busy as hell. HEE.

Valerie is married, and hopefully happy. As a friend, I really wish for her to be happy. And when she first told me about her marriage, I wept like a mad woman for god knows what reason. Perhaps I'm happy, maybe I'm worried. I dont know... She's my good friend, or at least used to be in high school. Good luck, Val.

Attending the wedding evoked strange feelings and made me real emo. (that's probably why I didn't feel like updating) I'm nineteen and already having friends forming a family? That is just... WOW, I'm old. And looking back at the nineteen years of my life, I feel so lacking. I've been wasting my life away. I have yet done something great, something to be proud of. :(

And. I'm upset with my friends, or rather just a particular friend. No, it's not Val, even though from what I've heard, I should be. I'm not, really. It's somebody else. She makes me feel inferior, as if I haven't been a good enough friend. I am beyond patience with her now. I have given so much and got only hurt in return. I really don't understand. Whatever it is, I will stop giving now, and perhaps, end this friendship. I refuse to hurt myself for I should be loving ME.

Anyhow, I was so upset that I cried the next day during class while talking to my classmates. SIGH~ enough is enough. I shall not dwell over this issue.

OH GOD, I'M SUPER BUSY!~

YES, school has started for three weeks. and i can't freaking find time to blog at all. ugh.

school has been... tedious, i guess. with new classmates and deadlines. HMMM. anyhow, i think the work is just getting started. :x

although i'm super duper busy. i managed to find time and watch THE DARK KNIGHT twice. LOL. and it is BRAVO OKAY! batman is like my favourite superhero and i think the movie did batman justice. LOVE THE MOVIE! and speaking of which, ed's role was such a disappointment, or rather, embarrassment. LOL. i couldn't even get a proper view of his face. like *&^%$#@!

and VAL is getting married. LIKE CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! my dearest friend is going to settle down already. i was stunned when she called me but nonetheless, i am still happy to know she has found someone she loves so dearly. :)

i just came back home from the RAFFLES FASHION DESIGN DEPARTMENT BARBEQUE. it was fun, or at the least, i was VERY HIGH. i kept haunting MI to take a photo with me that she really thinks i need some medicine. LOL.

30062008 the flight to taipei was damn freaking long. and i was so bored! :x plus the bus ride to my hotel was even longer. my butt ached like hell.

stayed at royal castle hotel this time. really nice hotel room but the location is a bit far from the MRT station. WELLS and the phone bill is twice the amount charged at rainbow hotel. UGH. -curses-

ANYWAYS. had dinner at some sushi place and shopped around ximen before heading for shi-da night market. not a bad place, really. :D

01072008 woke up freaking early next morning for the day tour. got on a huge bus with only around 10 other singaporeans. and the tour guide was so talkative. LOL. he's andy-ge too though the andy-ge at channel v is so much hotter. HAHA

first stop was the C.K.S. MEMORIAL HALL. the sun was freaking bright can. i almost died under it.

those FOUR letters (zi-you-guang-chang) are going to be taken down soon, so according to andy-ge, these pictures we took with these letters will become our family treasure. -.-

you have no idea how hot the weather was! some freaking 37 degrees! and i ended up hiding at spots where i could get some shade.

HEE. couldn't stop cam-whoring even while i'm walking. LOL. those tour-mates of mine kept giving me that weird look. gosh.

had to hide from the sun. seriously, i could feel my scalp burning! T-T

YELIU!!! what a nice place~ seriously! the view is spectacular!

and again... THE SUN IS FUCKING BRIGHT!

next was jiu-fen, where we had lunch. the funny thing was our lunch was provided while our tour-mates' were not. so andy-ge brought us to zhang-ji where he said was a must-go for lunch. it was super crowded but we managed to get a table fast. AND while we were already eating, our tourmates all came. HEE. they were all stunned to see that we were already half-way through eating our lu-ruo-fan. LOL. their faces were damn funny and i had to cough to stop myself from laughing. -.-

being engaged in a day tour means being conned to spend money. so there we were brought to Mao's Princess Home, where i was tempted into buying beauty products made from royale honey. UGH. okay, i bought some exfoiliating serum which cost me around $128SGD. but damn that product is amazing can. and auntie alice (that sales associate above) was so kind to give me a bottle of royale honey sun block for free! HEE.

oh and the top picture was taken with a real princess. okay, a princess of ah-li-shan. :x HEE and i asked her what a princess does and she was tongue-stuck. LOL

NEXT stop was another con-my-money-place, LING LONG GE. a fortune telling place actually. they look at my BA-ZI (eight letters) and said things which were quite true. but there was one which i think will not happen- that i will abandon everything for love. LOL. how can it be? HEE. they tried to sell me some jade thing, which cost about 250SGD by the way. but!~ this is not as tempting as royale honey so i didnt buy!

Martyr's Shrine. Saw the exchange of shifts among the guards. gosh, there was this one guy who almost fainted. so poor thing can. :x

we didn't go along to the hot spring since we were told that it would be a public bathe. OH GOSH, i wouldn't want to see naked people! so yep. we left the tour.

stayed at ximen since we were so tired. i bought that stupid looking spectacles for fun. so cute right. LOL.

02072008 a brand new day! went for a nice foot massage somewhere near wu-fen-pu. it was the one me and mel went the other time. and they still remembered me! HEE. and they told me mel actually emailed them. TO MEL: did you? LOL.

and i must say, wu-fen-pu rocks my life!~ things are so freaking cheap. makes me so happy. :D

I BOUGHT MY VIVIENNE WESTWOOD WALLET!!! like finally. GOSH, i'm so happy. PLUS its cheap! wells, at least cheaper than the last time i checked its price. they've got 20% discount plus 5% tax rebate! HEE. so happy.

TAIPEI 101. okayy. the view isn't too fabulous but its nice nonetheless. :D

went to the other floors to explore since i didn't go the last time.

went rao-he night market after that and WOW, so crowded can. plus all those street stalls are so cute! you'll see them fleeing from patroling police so often. LOL.

03072008 and by this day, i was going broke. WEEPS. and we walked ALOT. the walk to this miniature museum took the longest time. UGH. but wells, the things there are pretty.

had lunch at Asiaworld shopping center. the curry rice was good. :D

xiao-ju-dan. honestly, nothing fabulous about it. LOL. went over to SOGO to buy food! i love the strawberry cakes there. super nice. you people should go try!

after that we went over to wu-fen-pu again! <333>

went to Miramar in the evening. :)

and i didn't know why i took the ferris wheel a second time to scare myself. :X

went to shilin night market later on. tried the white bitterground juice which is damn freaking nice. :DDD not bitter at all, trust me. and i love the fried abalone mushroom there!!!~ speaking of food. TAIWAN FOOD IS SO NICE! EVEN THE FRUITS ARE NICE! EVEN THE CUP NOODLES ARE NICE! T-T why am i in singapore? LOL

04072008 went for another round of foot massage. :DDD HEE. and shopping at wu-fen-pu again. and after this, I WAS OFFICIALLY BROKE. HEE. didn't go to the fisherman's wharf because it was too cloudy. stayed at ximen, and was only to do window shopping. T-T so poor thing. then decided to go shi-lin again to eat!!! HMMM.

05072008 it was the first time in my life that i had so much time left and no money to shop. UGH. so depressing. so we sat somewhere in ximen and chatted our time away.

and OH MY GOD. there were two HUGE dogs strolling down ximen. see the pictures above? so BIG!!!~

and that was it. GOODBYE TAIWAN AND HELLO HOME!~

DID i mention? my luggage was overweight by 1.8kg. and my friend's was lighter by 1.8kg exactly. so i didn't have to pay any overweight taxes! :D YAY!~

OH, and i think i didn't introduce my travel mate. she's christine. :)

school has just started and i feel SUPER stress! T-T save me.

i am currently suffering from a sudden break out of pimples. not just one or two, but COUNTLESS! T-T please just kill me now that my face is like a ruined.

AND i went to see a doctor just now with regards to this sudden breakout. i mean it could be some skin allergy right? but he said it might be caused by stress or raging hormones. wells, in my case i will render that stress is the cause of those ugly pimples. i once had a month of period because of stress. HMMM. i think i'd rather the period rather than having pimples. ughhh.

on a lighter note though, i did my nails. i think i did a great job painting them and they look wonderful. :DDD

OKAYYY. i've moved to blogspot. why? ebloggy is giving me fits and refusing to let me access my blog. like what the hell.

hadn't been blogging since a few weeks back. so i've accumulated quite a bit to share. okay, maybe not alot....

i cut my hair. it happened about three weeks ago.

see this???? -gets all excited- that ye-shou-look-a-like (monster from bang bang tang) from litmus gave it to me! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! okayyy. he's cute and all... but nope, not interested.
